Please note that there are TWO accounts with PMBx. Your email username and password are for your email box services and the subscription username and password are for your subscription to those services. This is a good thing because it protects your email account which is of the utmost importance.
If you used PMBx in the past, but have never used the new subscription services, then when you purchase those services (usually email or possibly your own domain name service) then you will enter your existing email address where indicated, but also create a NEW subscription account. The email address that you use to create that subscription account is most important to remember.
It can be easy to forget the subscription account password, but if you use the email address which you entered into the subscription account (it may not be the same as your PMBx account), then you can use the Reset menu item to have the web site send you a reset link.
Subscriptions are set by default to automatically renew. That means that the web site will try to charge your credit card or PayPal account when its up to renew. Though this is helpful for some folks, especially those in certain countries, others may not want this. You can cancel the subscription reneal in the subscription account at any time to prevent this. If you cancel, though and then don’t renew by the renewal date, I’ll assume that you do not intend to renew and want me to remove your email box or other services.
Existing Users who have NEVER paid through the new subscription process.
- Purchase your services.
- Enter your existing PMBx email address where indicated in that service.
- At checkout you will be asked for your subscription credentials. Since you have never created a subscription account, then don’t try to login with your email credentials. Instead create a NEW subscription login and password. (you may still use your email credentials, but these credentials are not linked in any way to your email account.)
- You may use either the straight credit card or PayPal checkout.
Users who have PREVIOUSLY paid through the new subscription process.
- You will purchase/renew your services.
- Enter your existing PMBx email address where indicated for that service.
- At check you will need your subscription credentials, which you remember are not linked to your email credentials (even if you use the same email address both the email account and the subscription account, changing the password in one does not affect the password in the other). Login with your subscription credentials. If you have forgotten your subscription password, then using the email address for the subscription account, you can reset it from the menu item under Purcahse Services. The subscription account will not recognized your email account address, only the email address that you used when you created the subscription.
- You may use either the straight credit card or PayPal checkout.
